The oldest and largest of the three water parks, Aqualand Torremolinos is part of a chain (13 water parks across Europe) operated by the Spanish tourism group Aspro Ocio. It is situated just five minutes from the centre of Torremolinos and is the most popular of the three.

They have the necessary facilities to be able to improve any type of game necessary on the golf course. We finish with Simply Diving, a diving school with different venues, one of them in Torremolinos. There, children from 10 years old can also start making their first incursions under the sea. La Favorita, between Bajondillo and Playamar, with its specialty in pizzas and crêpes, lives up to its name. It is the chosen by parents and children for its genuine homemade food and because it has a small children’s ball park where they can play.

BAKERIES

Other options for breakfast and snacks with specialty bread, sweets and coffee are the bakeries of Castillo, Marescri, Lepanto, Polichinela, Velasco and Dulcipan. This last place is ideal for families with children who can also enjoy a small playground with balls. It is a really ideal place for everyone to enjoy and leave with a good taste in our mouth.

ALONG PROMENADE AREA

Along the promenade of 7 km length dotted with bars and restaurants you can enjoy among other dishes, delicious sardines and fried typical fish.Children can have fun on the beach … In the areas of Playamar and Alamos can be played also beach volleyball!

SWEET TEENY

It is true that “nobody bitter a sweet” in Torremolinos you can not resist to try one of those made in the Sweet Teeny bakery. Look for their timetable because from time to time they hold workshops to teach how to prepare your own cupcakes!

If in your family the good times are associated by an ice cream, you have to visit some of the artisan ice cream shops of Torremolinos.
You have them in the center, like the San Miguel Ice Cream Shop, in the Carihuela -Heladeria D’Arbini, Jijonenca and Kenkó- in La Colina the La Colina Ice Cream Shop, in the promenade of Playamar El Paseo, in the Bajondillo Helartia and Magui and Mandarina and Cava in front of Minigolf Park.

TORREMOLINOS´ BEACHES

The following beaches, El Bajondillo, Los Alamos and Playamar, create a long coastline that is interrupted by a large rock. On the other side we can find La Carihuela´s beach, that covers until Sport Port La Marina. All the beaches are adapted for disabled people and have all kinds of services and beach bars.

BAJONDILLO`S BEACH

Surrounded by imposing towers is a totally equipped beach with all services.

PLAYAMAR`S BEACH

El Retiro: hosts a several events and parties during the summer.

ÁLAMOS` BEACH

El Cañuelo: in September the tourist day is celebrated on this beach, with a dressage show.

CARIHUELA`S BEACH

On 16th July the traditional Carmen Fair is celebrated. A procession of the Virgin happens and it is in the sea.

WHAT CAN WE VISIT IN TORREMOLINOS

Walking along San Miguel`s street, allows us to check how it is the atmosphere you can breathe in Torremolinos, full of shops and restaurants. Through this street and its surroundings we can still find traditional bars and interesting places, including The Pimentel Tower, which has been preserved since the 14th century.
Going down to the promenade we can walk to The Carihuela, the historic district of Torremolinos that still retains its own character and a beautiful beach with some good restaurants.

In Las Mercedes´ street, it is a Neomudéjar mansion built in 1929.

MOLINO DE INCA

In Los Manantiales´ area. It was dedicated to the grinding of cereals. In its surrounding a botanical garden of 40,000 square meters has been built with a great variety of palms and trees. It has four viewpoints.
